Baker's Assistant
If you've ever considered becoming a baker or pastry chef, this is an entry level position that will allow you to train up towards those roles. Lots of room to grow for the right candidate.
Many of our recipes have been handed down for generations and our staff helps keep that history alive. If you value traditional scratch baking and want to work with a great team, this is the place for you.
This position is five days a week. Some weekend days required. Schedule can be flexible. Hours are approximately 6am-2pm each day. You may leave early or work late on shifts, depending on the workload.
Duties include but not limited to:
Dishwashing and general kitchen clean-up
Putting away deliveries
Rotating inventory
Scooping cookies, muffins and whoopie pies
Rolling and cutting cookies
Scaling out cakes
Monitoring ovens
Learning how to make scratch mixes
Finishing pastries, pies and donuts
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be conscientious and dependable. Salary commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 42 per week
