Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Assistant to be a part of our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food production and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties:

- Assist with food production, including food preparation, and food presentation

-Complete all given tasks in a set time frame.

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards, and that food safety and hygiene practices are followed

- Maintain a positive and productive working environment, and contribute to the overall success of the business

Skills:

- Proven experience in a restaurant or food industry environment

- Experience with food preparation

- Familiarity with restaurant operations and kitchen equipment

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Experience with baking and cake decorating (preferred)

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Experience with budgeting and financial management

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
