Job Description

The Chocolate Maven has an opening for an experienced baker to join our award winning team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about baking, food and flavors, and presentation, have a "can do" attitude, and previous experience working in a commercial bakery.

Experience with mixing and forming yeasted bread, sourdough and levain is a major plus.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare a variety of baked goods Mix doughs and batters Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines Follow recipes and production schedules accurately Maintain a clean work environment Work as a positive member of a team of artisan bakers. Previous experience in a bakery, restaurant, or catering environment Knowledge of bakery techniques and food preparation Familiarity with commercial baking equipment and tools Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
