Head Baker or Bakery Manager

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in daily baking operations, maintain cleanliness, support inventory needs, and provide excellent customer service. Prior baking experience is required and a willingness to learn, a valid driver's license, and a passion for baked goods are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and baking cookies, cakes and other baked goods Decorating cakes and cookies - highly preferred Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes Package baked goods for sale Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area Stock shelves and displays with fresh products Assist customers with purchases and inquiries Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Valid driver's license Strong attention to detail Ability to work mornings, weekends Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Previous experience in a kitchen or bakery is highly preferred
