Position Overview

The Baker is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and knowledge of baking techniques to ensure high-quality products that meet food safety and quality standards.

Position Responsibilities

Prepare and bake bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers Decorate and finish baked products as needed Ensure products meet quality, taste, and appearance standards Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations Monitor inventory and report ingredient or supply needs Clean and maintain baking equipment and work areas

Education/Experience

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Previous baking or food service experience is a plus Culinary or baking certification is an advantage but not required
