Plant Overview:

3-Shift Operation Non- Union Facility with approximately 200 hourly staff members which are a mix of temporary and full-time associates. 100% Food Service, 4 bag soup lines, 1 tub line, 18 Kettles, 5 Filling lines, and 4 packaging lines. Products include Frozen Soups and Macaroni & Cheese

Company History:

Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids started as Ashby Soups and was originated in the mid 1980's by Jamie and Shannon Ashby, along with their mother, using family held recipes for many kinds of soups. In the 1990s' the name was changed to Quality Chef Foods. Heinz acquired Quality Chef foods in the mid 2000's. In 2015 Kraft and Heinz merged to become Kraft Heinz as we know it today.

Job Overview:

Highly skilled operator, capable of being flexible and working in multiple different positions as required from day to day. Have solid knowledge of bag prep, spice, hand pre-weigh and all products' requirements. Identify any quality concerns with the ingredients, allergen labeling or cleans/changeovers.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Weigh raw ingredients according to recipe Coordinate ingredients based on recipes by placing them in barrels, drums, etc. Perform constant / accurate inventory checks on ingredients according to schedules Stage materials according to recipe Complete paperwork / IQS entries Cover staged ingredients Place recipe tag on barrel / carts when recipe is complete Clean / Sanitize work area Help with other recipes as needed Other duties as assigned Assemble/changeover equipment as assigned. Quality (verify product quality, item numbers, weights) Safety (follow all required safe work practices--ie: PPE, JSA)

Qualifications:

Must have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. above your head Thrives in fast-paced environments Working conditions include extremes of hot and cold temperatures. Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and with a team Ability to work in a safe manner. Must ensure quality products are being packaged. Responsible for following all Food Safety Policies and Safety Procedures. Responsible for Q-RMP standards implementation as defined by the accountability list document. Employees will follow all safety protocols. Safety is everyone's responsibility. Successful candidates must possess the behavior to:

Work Schedule:

3rd Shift- 9:30pm-6:00am
