How You'll Perform the Role

During the first three months, this position will require training during the day from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.







Under the direction of the Production Supervisor and designated Leads, this position operates a machine that takes in paper, folds it, and glues it to produce bags of various sizes, shapes, and grades. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities:




Operate and maintain machinery in accordance with safety protocols. Monitor machines during operation to ensure optimal performance. Perform quality checks on products to maintain high standards. Troubleshoot issues with machinery and perform basic maintenance tasks. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Complete assigned duties in compliance with company policies & procedures. Performs quality checks and completes related documentation. Maintains a clean and safe work area. Comply with established plant rules and procedures that promote compliance with customer service-related activities. Following run-order specifications for each product. Following pre-requisite programs in compliance with SQF Code, Manufacture of Food Packaging, and food safety requirements. Following all Good Manufacturing Practices in compliance with all Food Safety Requirements. Actively engage in value-added activities that enhance our products and processes. Understand and follow all JSAs and safety procedures/policies. Assist other team members as needed. Perform other duties as assigned or needed.


What We Need From You



Eligible to work in the United States. One year of experience in a manufacturing or mechanical position. Mechanical aptitude. Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen. Work overtime as required. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation. The commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop. Satisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management.



Training:

During the first three months, this position will require training during the day from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, before transitioning to the 2nd shift.


Pay Rate

: $ 19.00/hour


Shift Available

: 2nd shift


Shift schedule:

Monday-Friday


Shift differential

$.50 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift only
