Our cashiers are responsible for accurately scanning and tendering customers' orders while also encouraging a welcoming and helpful environment by building right relationships with coworkers and customers. Cashiers will go through our paid training program that offers the advantage of real-time, in-person training with expert trainers. They will receive technical education as well as hands-on experience from day one. Our training program offers Cashiers the basic knowledge and support that will allow them the confidence to begin their jobs at their home store.
The ideal candidate for the Bookkeeper role must be reliable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and use good judgment and decision-making skills. They must have the ability to accomplish a variety of tasks independently, adapt to the workload within a fast-paced environment, and be able to multi-task, react, and change priorities as needed. All training for this position will be paid and conducted on the job, with hands-on experience working one-on-one alongside our current Bookkeeping team.
Store Hours:
6 am - 10 pm
Bookkeeping Hours:
5 am - 1 pm
Requirements:
Ability to work
18 - 28 hours/week

minimum of 15 hours/week
(or about two 8-hour shifts/week) is
required year-round
Must be available as a Back-Up Bookkeeper on Weekends (Saturday - Sunday) only

Bookkeeping shifts are from 5 am - 1 pm

Must be flexible to fill in as needed
throughout the week (ex. vacations, sick calls, time off requests, etc.)

Previous Bookkeeping, or Bookkeeping adjacent, experience is required
Available at 6 am for remaining weekly shifts as an opening Cashier
+ Comfortability with speaking to customers in an energetic and helpful manner
+ Understand that you have the power to impact customer and coworkers day in a positive way
Holiday availability
Conduct scheduled machine reports
Balance all cashier reports used to reconcile drawers and communicate with Store Manager with any bookkeeping problems or procedural changes
Ensure adequate amounts of change on hand in store
Follow procedure for bank deposit and security service pick-ups
Follow procedure for handling payment types (cash, WIC, SNAP, coupons, & checks)
Secure online and phone credit cards orders
Ability to work in and enjoy a fast-paced environment but also be motivated to complete tasks during down times
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
