Ecommerce Developer:

Location: Hybrid/ In-person

Position Type: Full Time

Reports to: EVP, eCommerce

As an Ecommerce Developer your role will include working with the eCommerce and marketing teams to implement and integrate new technologies and functionalities for our online store and related systems. You will gauge the best technical routes to accomplish the intended goals, while

always leveraging an AI-first mentality

to improve speed and extend functionality. You will work with the other developers on the project to define milestones and timelines that can be achieved. You will work as part of a team, or at times autonomously, to code the needed functionality and designs, then verify them and roll them out for customers.

Your Impact as an eCommerce Developer:

Review feature requirements and propose technical solutions, possible alternate solutions, AI-assisted or enhancement opportunities, and potential risks. Work closely with front-end developers to determine the interaction between front and back-end during tasks and interactions. Leverage Vibe coding when appropriate to rapidly prototype proof of concept solutions. Take projects ranging from a few days to a few weeks, and break your portion into milestones and timelines. Communicate effectively with the team in an hybrid environment. Develop solutions for a custom eCommerce platform using GoLang, BigQuery and Datastore as well as Shopify. Effectively communicate progress that can be tracked against established milestones.

You Bring to Daz 3D and Tafi:

4+ years of software development in a web-based enterprise eCommerce environment. Experience writing solutions for Shopify. Experience with Python, GoLang, and common AI fundamentals. Continued learning - Tied in to current and leading-edge AI solutions for extending platform functionalities and development processes. An ability to self-manage, yet also effectively communicate and participate as part of a team with hybrid members. 2-4 years of development with Javascript
