Key Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain avionics systems across multiple aircraft platforms
Perform diagnostics, wiring, and component-level repairs with minimal supervision
Conduct inspections and functional tests in compliance with FAA and OEM standards
Accurately document maintenance actions and ensure regulatory compliance
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for system integration
Collaborate with engineering and flight operations teams to ensure mission readiness
Maintain control of personal tools and ensure proper use of test equipment
Support flight line operations and ground testing procedures
Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality assurance protocols
Participate in continuous improvement and 5-S workplace initiatives
Qualifications
FAA Airframe & Powerplant license or equivalent military avionics training preferred
Minimum of 3 years' experience in avionics installation, troubleshooting, or maintenance
Familiarity with UAS platforms and digital flight control systems is a strong plus
Ability to read and interpret avionics wiring diagrams and engineering drawings
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer proficiency and experience with maintenance tracking systems
Commitment to safety, precision, and continuous learning
Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance if required
