Job Summary

Veterans Alliance is hiring Avionics Technicians for a 12-month contract opportunity in Tucson, Arizona, supporting heavy maintenance on CRJ and other commercial fixed-wing aircraft. Candidates must have fixed-wing avionics experience and be comfortable working in a heavy maintenance environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting, testing, and repair of aircraft electrical and avionics systems Install, modify, and route wire harnesses and electrical components Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and OEM wiring diagrams Perform continuity checks and functional testing on avionics systems Document all work performed in compliance with company and FAA regulations Support aircraft inspections, system upgrades, and return-to-service activities Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and accuracy
Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of avionics experience on fixed-wing aircraft -

REQUIRED

Commercial or CRJ platform experience - PREFERRED Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and maintenance manuals Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical and avionics systems Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass background/drug screening

$37 per hour

Per Diem:

Up to $880 per week (must qualify)

Contract Length:

12 Months
