Are you a highly-skilled avionics professional ready to take your aviation career to next level? Join our team! As an Avionics Technician IV, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA and company policies and regulations. You'll be responsible for moderately complex installation, testing, troubleshooting and repair of avionics components, and maintenance of test equipment, tools, and manuals.

Qualifications You Must Have:

High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience + A higher-level degree may substitute for experience
+ Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex, technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings Advanced skills with moderately complex avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering' and crimping techniques

The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROL Ability to mentor and guide subordinates Basic understanding of spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pitot static equipment Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $34.90 - $47.99. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
