Automotive Service Advisor

to join our service team and help deliver a best-in-class service experience to our customers.

Position Summary

The Automotive Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. This role is responsible for understanding customer vehicle concerns, recommending maintenance and repairs, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring an exceptional service experience from drop-off to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival. Listen to customer concerns, document service needs, and verify vehicle information. Provide accurate repair estimates and discuss recommended services based on manufacturer guidelines and technician findings. Maintain constant communication with customers regarding repair status, timelines, and costs. Open and manage repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. Review multi-point inspection results and advise customers on maintenance priorities. Coordinate with technicians and parts personnel to ensure efficient workflow. Perform active delivery by explaining completed repairs and billing details. Help maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores. Upsell maintenance services when appropriate, focusing on safety and vehicle longevity. Ensure all repairs are authorized and documented properly. Support warranty claim processes when needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor

(Chevrolet/GM dealership experience preferred). Strong knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance schedules, and common repairs. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Valid NYS driver's license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
