Nissan of Norwich of Norwich, CT is seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Consultant to join our team. Experience preferred but not mandatory for this job. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth through effective relationship building and customer engagement. This role requires a strong understanding of the sales process, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients to meet their needs. The Sales Consultant will be utilizing their expertise in negotiation and customer service to close deals successfully.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with clients through outside sales efforts.
Manage the entire sales pipeline from prospecting to closing, ensuring a smooth process for customers.
Conduct cold calling and outbound sales activities to generate new business opportunities.
Utilize CRM software to track interactions, manage leads, and report on sales activities.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Engage in upselling techniques to maximize revenue from existing clients.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategies that drive sales growth.
Maintain inventory control and management to ensure product availability for customers.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
Skills
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
Familiarity with sales processes and customer engagement strategies.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
Proficient in CRM software for managing customer relationships and tracking sales progress.
Experience in dealership or automobile sales is advantageous but not required.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, including phone etiquette for client interactions.
