Elite Motor Cars is looking to hire an

Automotive Sales Consultant

to join our team at our dealership in Newark, NJ! For years, we have served northern NJ with an unmatched luxury used car buying and servicing experience including a wide variety of car brands. We pride ourselves on offering a wide selection of unique and hard-to-find vehicles that help attract customers and drive our business.

We are looking for candidates with a passion for cars and the automotive industry who are sales-driven and motivated to succeed. Previous automotive sales experience is highly preferred as we are looking for individuals to jump in and start right away. Compensation is based on experience and skill level.

Job Responsibilities

? Be the first point of contact for customers to communicate with about the dealership, available vehicles and other services offered

? Ask probing questions and determine customer needs in order to understand their expectations, discuss options and identify upsell opportunities

? Educate customers on available vehicles (makes and models), including direct comparisons and upselling opportunities

? Accurately discuss pricing for purchasing vehicles, add-ons, maintenance scheduling, and more

? Negotiate pricing based on customer qualifications and dealership pricing

? Stay up to date on vehicle inventory

? Work with management to establish sales goals and measurables for performance evaluation

? Attend staff meetings, trainings and keep up with product knowledge on a monthly basis

? Be enthusiastic about our dealership and help drive sales through quality interactions

Job Qualifications

? 1+ years of automotive sales experience

required

? Excellent written and verbal communication / customer service skills

? Attention to detail and able to stay knowledgeable about a variety of vehicles

? Professional demeanor and appearance

? Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
