Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with their vehicle needs, ensuring a positive first impression. Safely move and park customer vehicles within designated Volvo cars of cary parking areas using manual transmissions or automatic options. Assist with vehicle deliveries and pick-ups, ensuring all vehicles are handled with care and professionalism. Manage vehicle flow in the service lane, directing cars to appropriate bays and ensuring smooth traffic movement. Support the dealership's cashiering operations by handling cash transactions accurately during vehicle exchanges or service payments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parking lot and vehicle staging areas to uphold dealership standards. Communicate effectively with team members and guests to coordinate vehicle movements and address any guest inquiries or concerns. Support retail activities by assisting customers with basic inquiries or directions when needed. Follow all safety protocols related to vehicle handling, parking procedures, and dealership policies to ensure a secure environment for staff and guests.

Skills

Exceptional guest services skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor that enhances customer experiences. Strong hospitality mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a lively environment. Valid driving license with experience operating manual transmissions; familiarity with Volvo cars of Cary parking regulations is preferred. Excellent communication skills to clearly convey information to guests and team members alike. Previous dealership experience or familiarity with automotive operations is highly desirable. Delivery driver experience adds value by demonstrating safe driving habits and punctuality. Basic cashiering skills combined with retail math knowledge for handling transactions accurately. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse customer bases. Cash handling experience to manage payments confidently and securely.
