Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized

Parts Advisor

to join our growing team. This role is essential to supporting technicians, maintaining efficient shop workflow, and ensuring timely and accurate parts sourcing. The ideal candidate has experience with European OEM parts systems, strong communication skills, and excellent organizational ability.

Key Responsibilities

Source, order, and receive OEM and aftermarket parts for European and exotic vehicles. Verify parts accuracy using VIN decoding and OEM catalog systems (ETK, EPC, PET, etc.). Communicate with technicians to ensure accurate parts selection based on diagnostic findings and repair needs. Maintain accurate records of parts orders, returns, core tracking, and inventory updates. Manage in-house inventory, including common service items, fluids, hardware, and performance components. Track incoming shipments and provide updates to technicians and service advisors. Build and maintain vendor relationships to secure the best pricing and fastest availability. Organize and maintain a clean, efficient, and labeled parts storage area. Support performance builds by sourcing specialty components and custom-order items. Stay informed on parts programs, catalog updates, and pricing changes across European brands. Run and oversee the company eBay store, including listing parts, managing online inventory, packaging orders, and shipping sold items.

Experience & Qualifications

Experience as a parts advisor/parts counter person in a dealership or European specialty shop preferred. Strong understanding of automotive parts systems, OEM catalogs, and aftermarket suppliers. Familiarity with European brands (BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Porsche, VW, etc.) is highly beneficial. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and accuracy in parts handling. Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with technicians and service advisors. Comfortable managing multiple tasks, orders, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with performance parts or tuning components is a plus. Basic computer proficiency (shop management software, parts catalogs, Excel/Sheets). Ability and willingness to manage the EuroComp Garage eBay store, including listing items, handling inquiries, packaging, and shipping orders
