About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles while supporting the deployment of autonomous fleets. A key responsibility will be ensuring vehicles are fully prepared, safe, and ready for Vehicle Operators and Autonomous Drivers. Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including autonomous and electric platforms. Ensure vehicles are operationally ready for Vehicle Operators and Autonomous Drivers at the start of each shift. Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to guarantee safety, reliability, and compliance with company standards. Troubleshoot and repair vehicle systems: brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, and drive systems. Collaborate with Vehicle Operators and Mission Control to address issues quickly and minimize downtime. Maintain accurate service records and track parts usage. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in automotive repair preferred. Proven experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or similar role. Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostic equipment. Ability to adapt to new technologies and work with autonomous/electric vehicles. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Skills

ASE Certification(s). Experience with autonomous vehicles, robotics, or EV systems. Familiarity with fleet operations and shift-readiness processes.
