We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Automotive Finance Manager to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will oversee the financing process, build strong customer relationships, and facilitate smooth loan transactions. This role requires a deep understanding of financial services within the automotive industry, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Automotive Finance Manager will play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales growth through effective upselling and credit analysis.
Responsibilities
Manage the entire financing process for vehicle sales, including loan approval, credit analysis, and contract preparation
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure a positive buying experience
Present financing options clearly and effectively, upselling additional products and services when appropriate
Collaborate with lenders and financial institutions to secure favorable loan terms for customers
Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and other legal requirements
Process title work, title processing, and loan documentation accurately using financial software systems
Conduct credit analysis to determine customer eligibility for financing options
Negotiate terms with customers while maintaining dealership policies and profitability goals
Assist customers with understanding contracts, loan terms, and payment options
Maintain thorough knowledge of dealership inventory, vehicle features, and current promotions to support sales efforts
Skills
Proven experience in automotive finance or dealership finance management
Strong customer relationship management skills with a focus on customer service excellence
Knowledge of financial services, loan processing, credit analysis, and contract law (including TILA)
Experience with dealership sales processes and automobile sales techniques
Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to upsell additional products effectively
Proficiency in financial software applications used for loan processing and credit analysis
Basic math skills including 10 key typing accuracy for processing documentation quickly and accurately
Familiarity with title processing procedures and legal requirements related to vehicle financing
Strong communication skills to explain complex financial information clearly to customers
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
