Job Title: Automotive Detail Technician

Position Overview:



Pennyrile Ford is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Automotive Detail Technician to join our service operations team. This position is responsible for the meticulous cleaning and presentation of our vehicle inventory--both new and pre-owned--as well as customer vehicles serviced through our dealership. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate strong time management skills, and be committed to delivering exceptional quality and care in every task.



This role also includes general support responsibilities as assigned by management, ensuring a clean, professional, and organized dealership environment that reflects the Pennyrile Ford brand.





Key Responsibilities:


Clean and detail vehicle exteriors and interiors to dealership and manufacturer standards Perform thorough vacuuming, shampooing, waxing, polishing, and protective treatments Ensure all vehicles are showroom-ready or customer delivery-ready, as needed Safely move vehicles around the lot and service area Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay, detailing supplies, and workspaces Assist with vehicle lot organization, service drive flow, and event setup as requested Perform additional facility or general support tasks as assigned by management Adhere to all safety guidelines, cleanliness protocols, and company procedures




Qualifications & Skills:


Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs Previous experience in automotive detailing preferred but not required--training provided Dependable, professional, and a strong team contributor
