We are seeking a skilled installer/technician to join our team. In this position your main responsibilities will be installing and servicing automotive accessories, providing support for customers, and collaborating with the sales team. We are open to training a less experienced but highly motivated candidate who has experience and/or interest in the automotive aftermarket accessory industry.
Duties
-Install and repair automotive accessories such as Truck Caps, Tonneau Covers, Bed Liners, steps, etc.
-Maintain accurate records of services provided and parts used
-Collaborate with other installers to ensure timely completion of installations
-Assist customers in outfitting their vehicle with accessories
-Assist customers with purchase decisions, answering questions, and providing after-sales support
-Maintain an organized and tidy workplace for yourself and others
-Maintain professional relationships with our manufacturers and distributors
Skills
-Forklift Certification Required. If not certified employer will pay for certification
-Proficient in the use of search engines, databases, and AI for problem solving
-Proficiency in automotive service and repair techniques
-Knowledge of vehicles and automotive accessories
-Comfortable making phone calls, emails, and text messaging
-Proficient in computers and Point of Sale systems
General Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently & team lift up to 150 Pounds
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license
- Use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, steel toe non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment
- Mobility to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above head
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
