Automation Validation Engineer

Job Description
TRC\'s client is an established biopharma and engineering consulting firm looking for an Automation Validation Engineer to join their team in the Rahway, NJ area.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the qualification of installations and systems within regulations and client specifications.
- Responsible for the commissioning, qualification, and validation of instrumentation, control systems, and building management systems (BMS).
- Act as SME for automated systems including Rockwell or Siemens PLCs.
- Author systems lifecycle documents for cGMP BMS and HVAC systems.
- Author and execute BMS qualification protocols.
- Collaborate with and communicate out to current and prospective clients and cross functional teams regarding project requirements and updates.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
- 5+ years of applicable experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation, process equipment, and control panels
- Ability to read and understand P&ID\xe2\x80\x99s, electrical schematics, and M/P diagrams
- Exceptional troubleshooting, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in team based environments
- Proficiency in Rockwell or Siemens PLCs
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of industrial networks, VMS, VPNs
- Understanding of electrical design fundamentals and power distribution systems
