Overview


We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automation systems and industrial maintenance, with a focus on ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical knowledge, along with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities



Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems. Perform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize precision measuring instruments and calibration tools to maintain system accuracy. Read and interpret schematics for electrical and hydraulic systems. Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues and implement solutions on-site. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes using AutoCAD for design modifications. Maintain high voltage and low voltage electrical systems safely and effectively. Implement vision inspection systems to enhance product quality control. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally.

Requirements



Proven experience as an Automation Technician or similar role within an industrial setting. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and industrial maintenance practices. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems. Proficient in using calibration tools, precision measuring instruments, and ohmmeters. Experience with CNC machinery is a plus. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively. High voltage electrical experience is preferred; low voltage experience is essential. Military experience is advantageous but not required. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
