About the Position

Panda Windows & Doors, a leading manufacturer of custom luxury doors and windows, is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Drafter to join our Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will translate architectural designs and client specifications into precise technical drawings used for fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed approval, shop drawings per client specifications. Review architectural blueprints and ensure all details align with engineering requirements. Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, sales, and manufacturing teams to ensure drawing accuracy and manufacturability. Revise and update drawings based on feedback from clients or internal teams. Provide support during fabrication, advising on design specifications when necessary. Maintain organized project documentation and ensure timely completion of all assigned work.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience using AutoCAD 2011 or newer. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and data manipulation). Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with architects and clients. Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple ongoing projects while meeting tight deadlines. Strong understanding of engineering concepts, principles, and drafting techniques
