Job Title: Auto Parts Sales & Business Development Specialist

:

We are seeking a motivated team member to drive auto parts sales, manage inventory, and actively visit potential business customers across the island to establish relationships and grow our business.

What You'll Do:

Assist walk-in customers at our retail location with identifying the correct starter or alternator for their vehicle

Troubleshoot units brought in for testing, provide quotes, and complete sales transactions

Convert inbound phone calls into sales with strong communication and persuasive skills

Travel to meet prospective customers in person to generate new business and build lasting relationships

Supervise and coordinate with team members on merchandise handling and daily operations

Maintain accurate inventory records and sales documentation

Provide exceptional customer service and follow up with clients

What We Need From You:

Computer proficiency is essential - you must be comfortable using Excel, QuickBooks, or similar systems and able to learn new software quickly

Proven phone sales ability - experience converting calls into sales is critical

Self-motivated to reach out to new customers and conduct on-site visits

Valid driver's license in good standing

Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively

Great attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction

Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and 35 lbs regularly when handling merchandise

Big Plus If You Have:

Previous sales experience (please provide details when applying)

Experience with inbound phone sales conversion

Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn starter and alternator testing/rebuilding

Tool usage skills

Auto parts or automotive industry knowledge
