Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Trucking Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating transportation operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of vehicles. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to analyze data, and proficiency in various transportation management systems.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule transportation for vehicles, ensuring optimal routes and timely deliveries. Utilize data entry skills to maintain accurate records of shipments, vehicle status, and driver assignments. Monitor fleet operations and manage logistics to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Analyze transportation data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. Collaborate with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise during transit. Utilize systems such as Super Dispatch, Microsoft Office, or other transportation management systems for effective dispatching.

Qualifications

1-2 years

proven experience in trucking dispatching or logistics management is a must. Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus. Strong understanding of fleet management principles and practices. Proficient in data entry with a keen eye for detail. Ability to analyze data effectively to make informed decisions. Experience with supply chain processes is desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team and solo environment. Proficiency in using various software applications related to transportation management systems. Auto hauler dispatching is a plus

Pay: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
