We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for vehicle restoration and repair. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition while ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Perform repairs on damaged vehicles, including bodywork, painting, and glass replacement.
Utilize power tools and equipment effectively to execute repairs and restorations.
Conduct auto estimating to assess the extent of damage and provide accurate repair timelines.
Execute airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a flawless finish on repaired surfaces.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in auto body repair techniques.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
Proficiency in welding techniques is highly desirable.
Familiarity with auto restoration processes is a plus.
Experience in auto painting, including airless paint spraying methods.
Knowledge of auto glass installation and replacement procedures is beneficial.
Ability to perform accurate auto estimating for repair costs.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
