We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and restoration, with a strong background in various bodywork techniques. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
Perform body repairs on vehicles, including frame straightening and panel replacement.
Utilize welding techniques to repair or fabricate metal components as needed.
Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Apply airless paint spraying methods for finishing touches on repaired areas.
Detail vehicles post-repair to ensure a polished appearance for customers.
Engage in auto restoration projects, bringing classic vehicles back to life.
Handle auto glass replacement and repairs with precision.
Prepare accurate auto estimating reports for repair costs and timelines.
Operate power tools safely and effectively during the repair process.
Experience
Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in the automotive industry is preferred.
Strong skills in welding, vehicle maintenance, airless paint spraying, and fabrication techniques are highly desirable.
Familiarity with auto restoration processes and auto glass repair is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess vehicle damage accurately and efficiently.
