Job Description

We are immediately hiring a Full-Time Autism Aide for our residential home in Layton! You will be supporting 4 adults with Autism and other disabilities. No experience required!

Schedule:

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10am-5pm (35 hours/week)
As an Autism Aide (aka Direct Support Professional (DSP)/in-home caregiver), you will help our adult male clients achieve their personal goals and have fun while doing so.

This job is anything but boring! The people we support aren't afraid of having a good time and joking around. They enjoy going to the park, watching movies, doing arts and crafts, and visiting the library. We are looking for a fun-loving employee who can be a helping hand for these awesome adults.

We do help our clients with personal hygiene (toileting & showering). All the training you need is on-site and paid. No previous experience necessary.

Applicants must be willing to drive clients in a CTA Company Vehicle (minivan), and meet the following requirements:

Have a Clean Driving record Have a valid Utah Driver License Have at least 2 years of driving experience Be at least 19 years or older

Requirements:

19 years or older Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English Willingness to help someone with personal hygiene (brief/diaper changes) Ability to pass a criminal background check Reliable transportation to work Ability to lift 50 pounds from the floor Must be able to to stay awake the entire night Basic computer skills (Slack, Note Taking, Smart Phone Usage)
