The Reimbursement Coordinator ensures that all front end coding and billing systems are in place for the resolution of all self pay and insurance receivables including, but not limited to, obtaining insurance authorizations; CPT and ICD coding.; charge entry; insurance billing; monitoring productivity; and resolving daily, weekly, and monthly reports; reports trends to the Manager.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures/Certifications/Registrations Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of one (1) year experience in a medical practice setting preferred. Knowledge of computer applications such as Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred.
