Position overview





The Audit Technician plays a critical role in auditing, inspecting, and inventorying IT and electronic equipment. This position requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with technology hardware, and the ability to follow detailed procedures in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Success in this role depends on accuracy, accountability, and the ability to work independently.


Responsibilities




Audit and inventory inbound IT and electronic equipment. Collect and record inventory data for multiple inbound equipment loads. Perform hard drive removal and serial number capture on data-bearing devices. Inspect equipment to determine resale or recycling workflows. Attribute items accurately to correct locations and workflows in the ERP system. Follow load-specific work instructions and audit procedures. Maintain detailed, accurate records of all work performed. Support additional operational tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements




Demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy. Follow verbal and written instructions consistently. Use computers, scanners, and basic software systems effectively. Perform data entry with speed and accuracy. Communicate clearly with coworkers, managers, and clients. Work independently with minimal supervision. Stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods. Lift and move items weighing up to 55 pounds. Work in environments with moderate noise and temperature variations. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment at all times.
