Position Overview

Kelley | Uustal is seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking Attorney specializing in Artificial Intelligence Integration to join our complex litigation team. This unique opportunity is designed for a lawyer who is not only passionate about the practice of law but also deeply engaged in the rapidly evolving field of AI and its practical applications in litigation.





The role will routinely collaborate directly with our top trial attorneys and litigation teams, leveraging advanced AI tools to enhance strategy, research, and advocacy in real time. This attorney will play a pivotal role in incorporating AI-driven insights and workflows into every stage of complex litigation - from case development and discovery to trial presentation and post-trial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with trial teams to identify opportunities to apply AI in case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation. Attend high-level litigation meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials to provide real-time AI-supported analysis and problem-solving. Research and deploy the latest AI technologies to optimize legal research, document review, evidence analysis, and case presentation. Serve as an internal advisor on emerging AI tools, ethics, and best practices within the legal profession. Contribute to firmwide innovation initiatives, ensuring Kelley | Uustal remains at the forefront of technological advancement in trial law.

Qualifications

Demonstrated proficiency with generative AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, CoCounsel, etc.) and a strong understanding of their practical applications in the legal field. Excellent analytical, research, and written advocacy skills. Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary trial teams. Prior litigation experience preferred; however, exceptional candidates with proven AI fluency and a passion for complex problem-solving will be considered.
