Moore & Biser PLLC has an opening for an Attorney in its South Charleston, WV office. This attorney will be responsible for working collaboratively with senior counsel to aggressively defend a variety of general liability cases from inception through trial. Candidates need to be able to: analyze complex legal and factual issues, conduct legal research, and independently develop defense litigation strategies; Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, and document production in support of defense strategies; Independently take and defend depositions including the preparation of witnesses; Research, draft, file, and argue motions on behalf of clients; Provide effective and timely information, legal advice, and other services to clients on legal and factual issues; Work to resolve litigation promptly, efficiently, and effectively; and Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel in a professional manner.
