Reigata, an authorized dealer for AT&T, is actively seeking driven and reliable individuals to join our retail sales team as an AT&T Sales Associate. This role plays a critical part in connecting customers to the wireless solutions they need by offering AT&T's latest products and services. The AT&T Sales Associate will be the first point of contact for in-store guests, responsible for creating a welcoming environment and delivering expert knowledge of wireless devices, rate plans, and promotions.

The ideal AT&T Sales Associate will be motivated by goals, skilled at communication, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, retail-focused setting. This position requires attention to detail, consistency in customer interactions, and the ability to adapt to various personalities and sales situations. As an AT&T Sales Associate, you'll play an active role in driving store revenue, assisting customers with new accounts, upgrades, and troubleshooting, all while ensuring high levels of satisfaction and professionalism.

Responsibilities of an AT&T Sales Associate:

Greet customers promptly and warmly as they enter the retail location, creating a welcoming first impression. As an AT&T Sales Associate, you'll initiate conversations, ask open-ended questions, and actively listen to understand each customer's specific needs. Consistently reach and aim to exceed daily and weekly sales goals. This includes tracking personal performance, participating in team meetings, and using proven sales techniques to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. Offer in-depth, accurate knowledge of AT&T's wireless plans, smartphones, tablets, mobile internet devices, home internet solutions, and accessories. Guide customers through comparisons between AT&T's plans, devices, and promotional bundles, helping them make confident and informed purchasing decisions based on their needs and lifestyle. Open new wireless accounts, assist with porting in numbers from other carriers, process phone upgrades, manage device activations, and complete all point-of-sale transactions efficiently and correctly. Ensure each customer receives a consistent, positive, and professional experience that reflects AT&T's service standards--from initial greeting to checkout and follow-up. Troubleshoot basic technical issues such as connectivity problems, device malfunctions, or app support. When issues exceed your scope, escalate them appropriately to store leadership or AT&T's technical support team. Proactively follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction, answer follow-up questions, and offer support or additional products. Building long-term relationships is key to success in this role.

Qualifications for an AT&T Sales Associate:

High School Diploma or GED is preferred Previous experience in retail, sales, or wireless service strongly preferred AT&T Sales Associates have confidence in working with technology and point-of-sale systems Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team Flexible availability including evenings and weekends Be able to stand for extended periods of time.

AT&T Sales Associate Overview:

This is a full-time position based in Providence, RI. Our retail location is open Monday through Sunday, and team members typically work an average of 40 hours per week in-person, engaging directly with customers inside a big-box retail environment.

Pay:

We offer an hourly pay of $15 per hour

and commissions can vary from

$70-$100 per line activated. On average a minimum of 1 order is completed per day per employee.
