The Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School is seeking a collaborative and hard-working individual to serve as our Athletic Trainer during the spring season of 2026. As a school that embraces Multiple Intelligences philosophy and utilizes differentiated instruction pedagogy, we seek an athletic trainer who works diligently to reach all student-athletes and believes, as we do, that it is not "how smart you are" but rather "how you are smart." The Athletic Trainer will work closely with our student-athletes, coaches, nurse, and parents. This position is part-time Mon. - Fri. 18-20 hours per week with hours spanning 2:00 - 6:30 p.m. as well as two Saturday commitments. The hourly compensation is $55/hourand this individual reports directly to the Athletic Director.

Strong communication skills
Bachelor's degree
NATABOC Certification, State Licensure, and CPR Certification
Primary responsibilities will include:
Providing evaluation, treatments, and preventive services to injured student-athletes
Communication with parents, guardians, medical professionals, coaches, and residential staff regarding the student-athlete's injury and overall health
Coverage of all home athletic events (including limited weekends)
Oversee pre-participation and return from injury clearance
Maintaining accurate records
