As a Master or Level "A" Service Technician, you will diagnose and repair customer vehicles, handling major components and replacing parts as needed. Extensive experience with a specific manufacturer's vehicles and relevant certifications is essential, covering areas such as engine systems, electrical systems, and drivability.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards.
Inspect assigned vehicles for additional safety or service needs.
Document all work and communicate any additional repair needs to the service advisor.
Conduct road tests to verify successful repairs when applicable.
Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of new technologies.
Maintain the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) at or above specified goals.
Ensure warranty claims are completed accurately and efficiently.
Report any conditions that could jeopardize safety or dealership integrity.
Assist and train novice technicians as needed.
Comply with all regulations regarding safety and hazardous materials.
Qualifications:
ASE and manufacturer certifications preferred.
Prior automotive technician experience required.
Basic tools and strong technical skills are necessary.
Must be a team player and at least eighteen years old.
Valid driver's license and the ability to pass background and drug tests are required.
