ASVAB Edge Academy LLC is seeking dedicated and academically accomplished college students to join our team as ASVAB Prep Tutors. In this rewarding role, you will empower high school students to achieve their goals by helping them prepare for the crucial ASVAB exam, a key step for military enlistment and career exploration.

This is more than just a tutoring job--it's an opportunity to build your resume and develop valuable leadership and teaching skills in a structured educational program.

Responsibilities:

Deliver our pre-designed curriculum in small groups (max 15:1 student-to-tutor ratio) to high school students. Facilitate engaging and effective learning sessions focused on key ASVAB test subjects (Math, Verbal, and Science). Administer and score pre- and post-assessments to track and demonstrate student progress. Serve as a positive mentor and role model, fostering a supportive and productive learning environment. Commit to a consistent schedule for the full program duration (3 to 5 days/week for 4-5 weeks at an assigned local high school).

Who You Are (Requirements):

Current college Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 (a transcript may be requested). Strong academic and test-taking abilities; proof of strong SAT/ACT scores is a significant plus. Reliable, punctual, and professional with a genuine passion for helping others succeed. Must have reliable personal transportation to travel to assigned high schools throughout the Lawton-Fort Sill (LAW) metropolitan area. Ability to successfully pass a background check.

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule:

Programs run during the week within regular school hours. This is a part-time role with a consistent weekly schedule for the 4-5 week program duration.
