Overview


We are seeking a dedicated Office Assistant Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, a comprehensive understanding of property management practices, and a commitment to providing exceptional support to clients, team members and management. This role requires proficiency in managing tenant relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining the overall condition of the properties.

Responsibilities



Assist in managing all aspects of property operations including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws. Utilize property management software such as Appfolio, Property inspect and others for data entry, record keeping, and reporting. Oversee property maintenance tasks and coordinate with vendors for repairs and improvements. Handle tenant inquiries and conflicts with effective conflict management strategies. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure quality standards are met. Prepare and manage contracts related to leasing agreements and vendor services. Implement marketing strategies to promote available units and upsell services to current tenants. Maintain accurate records through filing systems and customer relationship management tools. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.

Requirements



Basic Knowledge of property management or real estate administration is preferred. Familiarity with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs is preferred. Knowledge of Section 8 housing regulations is a plus. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on relationship building. Proficiency in administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and office experience. Understanding of facilities management principles and practices. Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with tenants and vendors. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
