Job Overview

RMP LLP is seeking a full-time associate tax attorney with a strong work ethic to join our team. The candidate must be comfortable in a high-volume practice and be willing to live in Little Rock, Arkansas or or Northwest Arkansas.

Responsibilities:

Strategically advising clients about their estate planning; drafting wills, trusts and related estate planning documents and assisting clients with trust and estate administration. Providing sophisticated tax planning to minimize state and federal income, estate, gift and other transfer taxes, as well as preparing estate and gift tax returns. Business planning, including entity formation, business succession planning, mergers & acquisitions and representation of businesses in tax-related matters.

Education:

Admission to Arkansas Bar Required J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation Required

Qualifications:

Must have excellent research, writing and verbal communication skills. Must be organized with excellent attention to detail. Collaborative, self-motivated and highly professional. Ability to work with diverse personalities within various levels of the organization. Experience desired but not required.
