Job Description

We are seeking a Scientist with a strong background in laboratory research and troubleshooting. A proven ability to contribute to product compliance and help drive innovation from research through manufacturing is highly valued. This is a Day Shift position Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


1. Execute pre-existing experiments.


2. Perform well-known, domain specific analytic techniques. Use scientific apparatus common to the domain.


3. Provide written and graphical contributions to research reports.


4. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.


5. Understand. Create. Simplify.


6. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications


BS STEM

1-3 years' relevant work experience

Familiar with the scientific method

Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Background check results satisfactory to SEL

Negative drug test result(s)

Preferred Qualifications


Experience with object-orientated programming in Python, C#, C++, Matlab or Java

Pay Range


Associate Scientist $84,240 - $124,488. Scientist $97,740-$144,438. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
