Job Purpose

The Associate Sales Representative will assist the Sales Representative with sales activities, maintaining existing business and support successful maintenance programs within new car dealerships, independent repair facilities, and fleets while maintaining quota. In addition, this position will initiate, build and maintain smaller accounts in the territory.

Duties & Responsibilities

Adheres to company polices and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times. Develop new sales accounts under the direction of the General Sales Manager. Assist the Sales Representative with contacting current or potential customers to establish a BG maintenance program. Deliver products to customers and stock shelves. Observe procedures in dealerships, independent repair facilities and fleet programs to gain insight into the needs of customers, service technicians and service advisors. Attend BGU and demonstrate credible knowledge of BG products and services. Deliver promotional presentations to current or prospective customers. Assist and support ongoing training within current accounts in order to further their maintenance success. Gather customer or product information to determine customer needs. Advise and recommend products or services to customers. Implement new products and programs within accounts. Maintain record of customer accounts. Maintain records of sales or other business transactions. Support accounts with inventory, technical assistance, and equipment maintenance. Assist in the training of BG Products and Kansas BG staff. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Two years or more of sales or automotive experience.
