Associate, Regulatory Compliance (Remote or Austin-Based)
As an associate in Unchained Capital\xe2\x80\x99s Regulatory Compliance team, you will work cross-functionally with our Client Services, Operations, and Compliance teams to help ensure timely and compliant processes spanning our business. Reporting to the Director of Regulatory Compliance, you will support our day-to-day regulatory compliance program spanning a wide array of financial products and services, including lending and wealth management compliance. Regulatory compliance topics include both state and federal requirements.
You will:

• Support the compliance risk management function through the risk assessment process
• Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to follow-up on compliance-related issues
• Help develop and execute corrective action plans for resolution of any identified issues
• Assist in the interpretation of state and federal laws, regulations, and policies
• Work with leadership to draft responses to state and federal agency inquiries and complaints
• Support product and business development by providing insight and understanding to compliance requirements and risk management
• Perform regulatory compliance testing in key areas
• Assist in development and administration of company-wide compliance training programs, including appropriate introductory training for new employees as well as ongoing training
• Provide reports to senior management regarding the operation and progress of compliance efforts

Qualifications You have:

• 3+ years experience in regulatory compliance with a financial services company
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CRCM, CFE)
• Understanding of the financial services regulatory environment, especially in lending and servicing compliance and consumer compliance programs
• Familiarity with both state and federal law/regulation (e.g. TILA, ECOA, UDAAP)
• Comfort working with the Google Suite and Microsoft Office
• Experience with CRM or ticketing systems such as Zendesk, Hubspot, or Jira
• Experience with GRC tools such as Archer, Resolver, or SAI
• Knowledge of Bitcoin Wallets and transactions, with a demonstrated passion and commitment to learning more
