We are seeking an

Assistant Program Manager (APM)

to support the Director of Programs in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple aerospace and defense programs from contract award through delivery. This is a growth-oriented, associate-level role ideal for someone with several years of project coordination or technical operations experience who's ready to take the next step in program management.

You'll play a key role in bridging strategy and execution -- ensuring schedules, deliverables, and communications are aligned across engineering design, manufacturing, supply chain, and contracts.

Key Responsibilities



Support the Director of Programs in managing multiple aerospace and defense projects. Track project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies using detailed schedules and action trackers. Prepare materials for internal and external program reviews, dashboards, and reports. Coordinate cross-functional efforts between design, manufacturing, supply chain, and contracts. Manage regular customer communication and meeting logistics. Facilitate risk tracking, issue resolution, and continuous improvement efforts. Assist with contract management and documentation, including compliance and modifications. Contribute to the development and maintenance of program management tools and best practices.

What You Bring



Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in project coordination, program support, or technical operations (aerospace/defense preferred). Strong organizational and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project scheduling tools (MS Project or similar). Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) and/or ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint a plus). Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and in team settings. PMP or CAPM certification is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
