The Department of Surgery at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont and the University of Vermont Health Medical Group are excited to announce a search for a Chief of Surgical Oncology. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the care of cancer patients, the education of general surgery residents and medical students, and to pursue their research interests. Experience in clinical leadership is preferred. Only candidates at the Associate Professor or Professor rank in the Clinical Scholar Pathway will be considered for this position.
All applicants must be fellowship-trained and board certified. Successful candidates must be eligible for licensure in the State of Vermont, eligible to work in the United States, and have experience in the administrative, teaching, clinical, and research activities of an academic division. This is a full-time, 12-month, salaried position with attending staff privileges at the University of Vermont Medical Center.
