Job Description

What we are looking for:

SCS is looking for an independent, Associate Engineer to assist with diverse and challenging environmental projects in our Overland Park office. You will provide support to this office's solid waste practice, including landfill gas permitting and design (all phases, including construction plans, specifications and construction documents), data analysis, report writing, and construction oversight.
How you can make an impact:
Work will include both field and office activities, such as typical environmental field work (i.e., site visits, site assessments, sampling, construction oversight), and such office work as project planning and execution, data evaluation, and document preparation. Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering and scientific principles and practices in solid waste assignment areas and related fields. Prepare/review engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applications. Prepare plans and specifications, reports, permit applications, and proposals. Occasional travel will be required

Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering or related Engineering major required. 3 months of relevant internship, work or research experience required. E.I.T. preferred. Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D design software preferred. Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.

Pay Range: USD $60,000.00 - USD $67,000.00 /Yr.
