Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Production/Inventory Coordinator to join our Materials Management of the Composite Center Excellence team in Mesa, Arizona. Position Responsibilities:

  • Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions.
  • Monitors work in process.
  • Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability.
  • Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.
  • Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
  • Works under general supervision.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift. This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a \xe2\x80\x9cU.S. Person\xe2\x80\x9d as defined by 22 C.F.R. \xc2\xa7120.15 is required. \xe2\x80\x9cU.S. Person\xe2\x80\x9d includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
  • Able to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift.
  • Able to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • More than 1 year of experience do you have using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • More than 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.
  • More than 1 year of experience with inventory, stock, or supply chain management.
  • More than 1 year of experience in Materials Management.
  • More than 1 year of experience working with various material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and cranes.
  • More than 1 year of experience with inventory management and material [requirements] planning systems.
  • More than 1 year of experience with warehouse inventory (e.g. parts accuracy and accountability).
  • More than 1 year of experience in packaging.
  • Willing to work variable shifts; including day, evening, night and weekends.
Typical Education/Experience: High School diploma/GED and typically 1 or more years\xe2\x80\x99 related work experience or relevant military experience. Education (e.g. Vocational, Associate, Bachelor, etc.) preferred, but not required. Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Travel: Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.
