Qualifying requirements

• Experience in complex MDM architecture implementation including how handled data integration data modelling and synchronization across multiple systems is done
• Experience in designing and implementing MDM solutions including the data domains managed and the tools or platforms used e.g. Informatica Collibra Talend
• Experience in data governance data quality and data stewardship within an MDM framework to ensure consistent and reliable master data across the organization

Primary Skills

• Strategic Data Leader Acts as the primary authority on master data management strategies and best practices
• Solution Designer Designs scalable robust and secure MDM solutions aligned with organizational needs
• Technical Expert Possesses deep expertise in MDM tools data modelling data governance and integration techniques
• Collaborator Works closely with business stakeholders' data stewards' data engineers and IT teams to ensure data consistency and quality
• Standards Enforcer Establishes and enforces data standards policies and governance frameworks

Responsibilities of an MDM Architect

• Requirements Gathering Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand master data requirements data sources and integration points
• Architecture Design Develop comprehensive MDM architecture including data models data flow diagrams and integration strategies
• Tool Selection Implementation Evaluate select and oversee the deployment of MDM tools and platforms eg Informatica MDM IBM InfoSphere etc
• Data Modeling Design and implement data models for master data entities such as customers products suppliers etc
• Data Governance Quality Define data governance policies data quality standards and stewardship processes to ensure highquality master data
• Integration Data Flow Design and implement data integration processes to synchronize master data across systems
• Security Compliance Ensure master data security privacy and compliance with relevant regulations
• Performance Optimization Monitor and optimize the performance of MDM solutions and data workflows
• Documentation Maintain detailed documentation of architecture data models workflows and standards
• Stakeholder Engagement Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units to ensure the MDM solution meets organizational needs
• Continuous Improvement Stay updated with emerging trends tools and best practices in MDM and data management
• Training Support Provide guidance and training to data stewards and users involved in master data processes
• Good communication with experience handling client stakeholders well
