The Associate, Pick, Pack & Ship pulls assembly parts for the gear motor technicians and then packs and ships completed Gear Motors orders. This position uses various warehouse equipment, such as a radio frequency (RF) gun, and manifest document to successfully complete the orders.

  • Production Operation
  • Pull order accurately, according to RF unit and order ticket before sending to assembly station
  • Pack orders according to order ticket paying attention to items needing extra dunnage, form, and special instructions
  • General housekeeping of warehouse and pack stations
  • Restock pack stations with shipping supplies (boxes, bubble wrap, paper, air pillows, etc.) and return totes and carts to proper areas
  • Quality
  • Report problems or abnormal issues found with motors, parts, or equipment discovered when pulling needed production parts from the bin locations
  • Inspect work at appropriate check points before proceeding to pack out or ship
  • Perform daily check sheets and inform supervisor of issue found
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) or equivalent experience
  • Up to 1 year e xperience picking parts, packing finished goods and shipping in a warehouse setting
  • SAP shipping module -Basic Proficiency
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Fast learner and self motivated
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to coordinate work with team members
