Role Summary
The Associate Manager is responsible for overseeing employees in the workplace in accordance with Company policies and procedures. This fast-paced role requires multitasking related to operations, staffing, clients and customers. This position requires a flexible schedule including extended hours. The Associate Manager reports to the Operations Manager or Senior Operations Manager.
Essential Responsibilities
Oversee the property (ies) with excellence and attention to detail. o Promote positive customer relations by being responsive and attentive to customer needs. o Channel requests and requirements of location's landlord to appropriate decision maker. o Schedule employees to ensure appropriate staffing levels per shift to meet service requirements and budget. o Ensure accurate and timely payroll reporting. Check time and attendance system records, compile and submit payroll for Operations Manager or Senior Operations' Manager approval. o Resolve customer service inquiries, complaints, incident reports and claims for the location as needed. o Maintain corporate standards and location log books. o Leads by example and ensures that customers have an exceptional customer service experience. o Maintains a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times. o Excellent communication (verbal and written) and comprehension skills. o Effectively presents information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and associates. o Applies reasoning and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. o Recruit, coach, motivate and evaluate teams. o Ensures employees are properly trained and follow established safety standards. o Establish and maintain scheduling procedures. o Perform related duties as requested.
