Preferred Qualifications:

We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate the following:

Law school GPA of 3.0 or higher and/or placement in the top 30% of their class Prior experience or demonstrable interest in litigation (e.g., Moot Court, Trial Advocacy, Law Journal, or litigation-focused employment/internship) Proficiency in legal research, especially using Lexis Strong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of Clio practice management software Competence with Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel) Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Professional (including Bates stamping) A valid license to practice law in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain licensure within six (6) months of hire Strong work ethic and professional demeanor Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Key Responsibilities:

Assist senior attorneys with hearing and trial preparation Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other litigation-related documents Handle discovery (requests and responses) Manage deadlines, dockets, and client communications Interact with opposing counsel, court clerks, and judicial chambers Attend and conduct procedural and administrative hearings

Work Environment & Schedule:

In-person work at our Brentwood office Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts Reliable commute or plans to relocate prior to start date required
